Hope all is well, as well as can be. Everything's fine here in London, and I'm glad to be able to share some good news.
Yesterday we announced pre-orders are available for Euphoric Recall, Aidan Martin's debut memoir. In less than 24 hours we've had almost 100 pre-orders! Many thanks for your support. Really looking forward to sharing this story with you. And, we're thinking about releasing it sooner than February. Will keep you posted. You can click on the link above If you'd like to pre-order a copy.
Also, Aidan recently wrote a post about pitching Euphoric Recall and finding Guts Publishing, which I enjoyed immensely. Here's an excerpt: "...Their tagline had me hooked instantly: ‘Ballsy books about life’. They were an independent publisher based in London who were seeking bold life stories. NOW I felt something in my gut. It was excitement. Hope. Fear. Fear they might reject me. Because I felt we were a perfect match. They just didn’t know it yet." Cyber Smut News
Excited to let you know we're having a virtual launch for Cyber Smut. And you're invited! It's on 15 Sept, from 7-8pm GMT. Six readings by our talented contributors - Julian Bishop, Drew Pisarra, Erica Buist, Ellie Stewart, Aidan Martin and Rab Ferguson. Beyond wonderful. Click here to register and get your free ticket. We'll be doing the launch on GoogleMeet, it's similar to Zoom. Just click on a link, then you'll be admitted to the event.
We have loads of new contributor interviews on our blog. I've really enjoyed doing these - far more than I ever thought I would, not that I didn't think I would like doing them - oh never mind. Anyway, the most recent interview is with poet Radoslav Rochallyi. When asked - describe yourself in three words - he said: Mein Herz Brennt = My Heart Burns= Moje Srdce Horí
You can pre-order Cyber Smut for £7.25 until 14 September, then on 15 September the retail price will be £9. Here's the link: gutspublishing.com/books
Call for Submissions
We're counting down the days now - six days left to send your stories and poems for our Sending Nudes anthology. Fiction, nonfiction and poetry. Closing date is 1 September - can't wait to read your story.
Also, we're actively looking for our next memoir. Open for submissions now. We love stories about art, music, travel, cyber life, mental health, etc — although any topic is fine. It really is so subjective, so if you have something just send it along and we'll be happy to take a look. To submit your work send the first 5000 words, a one-page summary and your bio.
For more details visit our submissions page.
