MakerSphere is partnering with Vermont Works For Women to bring the Rosie's Girls afterschool program to our community. Their program is described as follows: "At Rosie’s Girls, youth are introduced to skills

and career fields that are nontraditional for their gender through hands-on learning in a supportive and empowering environment. In addition to trades and technical learning, youth learn from our social and emotional curriculum known as “Power Skills” to help them navigate school, friendships, and societal issues. Our staff create a safe space for youth to step outside their comfort zones, make new friends, and build confidence in exploring their passions."

This program will be offered in our next afterschool session that begins in March. Registration will open February 8th. In addition to this program, MakerSphere expects to offer a Rosie’s Girls week-long summer day camp this year. Stay tuned for details.

Summer Camps

MakerSphere will offer a number of summer camps once again this year for all ages. The summer camp schedule will be available soon with a planned registration opening date of February 15.
