You made a difference!

Thank you for participating in APJ's advocacy webinars and adding your voice to our letters to Congress in 2022!

In part because of your efforts, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) was included in legislation that was signed into law this week, making it easier for pregnant women to secure accommodations such as a place to sit or appropriate breaks while at work.

To learn more, read CPJ's statement about the passage of the PWFA.

As 2022 draws to a close, please consider donating so that we can help even more Christians love their neighbors through non-partisan political action that is pro-life, pro-family, pro-worker and protects the freedom of faith-based organizations to serve out of their deeply held convictions.

Your donation will also help support our efforts to work on Juvenile Justice Reform and Ranked Choice Voting in 2023.

Meet Chandler Robinson, APJ's Paid Advocacy Intern.

Chandler is a second year student at Howard University, who recently finished an advocacy internship with CPJ. She will work with APJ this semester to support our advocacy, communications, and movement building efforts. She has been involved in our efforts to promote Family Supportive Policies with CPJ and is particularly interested in growing our work with Juvenile Justice Reform.

Engage Justice Video Resource

In our polarized culture, APJ aims to reduce civic distrust and increase poltical participation through a video learning journey. This resource helps Christians understand that political engagement can be winsome, positive, part of God’s good design, and

means of loving our neighbors and communities. At the same time, we equip participants to reflect on their own political experiences and develop empathy for alternative perspectives. Click the image above to see a clip of the trailer for this resource.

We are currently raising funds to produce this resource, based on CPJ's Political Discipleship 10-week written group study.

“Having a video version would definitely make the curriculum

more accessible to folks who are younger... but also the folks

who may not know how to read, but who are very engaged

politically and want to be... I think having a video curriculum

definitely makes sure that we are able to engage the curriculum

with a broad socio-economic spectrum.”
