The following day, travel leaders gathered in London to support Morocco, thanks to the efforts of quick thinking journalist and sustainability expert, Juliet Kinsman, and The Conscious Travel foundation. The event raised nearly £10,000 to support charities on the ground in Morocco, and the group will be creating resources for the travel industry on how to better respond to natural disasters. Our hearts go out to the people of Morocco and now Libya – we are gathering information on how to best help after the catastrophic floods.
