SUMMER IS HERE!! We are excited to update you on all of the exciting things going on at Light of Mine Ranch.
ALL SUMMER LONG! We are working with a local business called Run Wild: Indoor and Outdoor Playland to host foster families for free admission! Events include free giveaways, pizza, fun and fellowship! Our initial event in May included 23 kids!
THANK YOU! Thanks to your generous donations we were able to help 2 very busy foster families. Bunk beds and bikes are on the foster care essentials list! If you are in the Rapid City area, feel free to contact us if you are in need! |
MAJOR THANKS! We had some very generous blessings come our way!! Thank You Pat & Trina Kiernan, Mike & Noelle Kieran, as well as Northwood Academy! |
WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITY! Did you know that Rapid City, SD is home to nearly 22,000 Native Americans? Part of our mission is to maintain strong cultural roots for children in foster care. |
THE TIME IS NOW! Light of Mine Ranch is planning on making waves in the foster care world, but we need to some land. Please reach out if you have a lead on something! This would be a great opportunity to leave a legacy on your unused acreage and make a huge impact in the lives of hundreds of children. |

We like the idea of building Light of Mine Ranch in phases. Phase 1 = 2 Foster Homes, Main Office/Community Center Phase 2 = +3 Foster Homes, Small Barn, Small Animals Phase 3 = +3 Foster Homes, Gym, Playground, Large Barn This could be accomplished on 60 acres, however, we would like to have room to grow! We do not have land yet, but are interested in various opportunities via donation, funding, or purchasing in sections. Please help spread the word. |

1 Chronicles 29:13-17 NLT ““O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name! But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us! We are here for only a moment, visitors and strangers in the land as our ancestors were before us. Our days on earth are like a passing shadow, gone so soon without a trace. “O Lord our God, even this material we have gathered to build a Temple to honor your holy name comes from you! It all belongs to you! I know, my God, that you examine our hearts and rejoice when you find integrity there. You know I have done all this with good motives, and I have watched your people offer their gifts willingly and joyously.” |
