🙌 Just Weeks Away 🙌

Registration is open for the next Y4A Yoga for Amputees/Adaptive Yoga

Teacher Training! This training, taught by Lucy Lomax and Heather Thamer, will

be offered simultaneously online and in-person at the Yoga Center of Columbia

in Columbia, MD., March 1-3, 2024.

At this point, this is the only Y4A training scheduled this year. So don’t miss out on this excellent opportunity to hone your skills in teaching/supporting those with limb loss/difference/variance.

Take advantage of the Early bird rate of $275 if registered by February 23; starting February 24, the rate will increase to $295.

This training will count as 15 hours of continuing education for teachers registered with Yoga Alliance.

This adaptive yoga training is for yoga teachers, yoga therapists, prosthetists,

physical therapists, occupational therapists, recreational therapists, and other

professionals who support those with limb variance. Learn about prosthetics,

pain management, breathing, and meditation techniques specific to those with

limb loss, and how to safely adapt poses for all types of limb variance.

Note: If you are an amputee and interested in this training for your personal edification, you must have a minimum of 6 months of consistent yoga practice and contact Lucy at lucy@lucylomax.com for further discussion.
