The star Atop my Christmas tree

Shines its heavenly light on me

To let me know that Jesus is near

To bring me hope, comfort and cheer.

The star shines its heavenly light

As the angel watches through the night

Over the loved ones I hold so dear

Until the early morning light.

The star shines brightly this Christmas season

To let me know that Jesus is the reason

For each of us to celebrate

His birth on this special day.

Let your Christmas star shine bright

And fill your hearts with heavenly light

To share the good news this season

And tell the world that Jesus is the reason

For this joyous Christmas season!
