Bisbee Science Lab

2021: A Year in Review

As we approach the end of the year, we'd like to take a moment to reflect on the successes, challenges, and learning experiences that have led us to where we are today.

In 2021, we launched our mobile lab, Sky Island STEAM Express, hosted four Science Cafés, two Pie & Sky's, developed a powerful partnership with the Boys & Girls Club, conducted three community engagement events regarding the backyard design project, and finally opened ourselves back up to the public. These programs and events have reached over 6,000 people within Cochise County with informal STEM education, bringing learning opportunities to our most underserved community members.

We want to thank all of our sponsors, individual donors, high school interns, staff, volunteers, educators, and community organizers who make our work possible! We are proud to be a voice for STEM education, and look forward to serving our community for years to come!
