PMT is excited to return to Pineville's 3rd Annual Arts in the Park Festival on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

 

Join us for a music filled morning as staff from PMT will lead the morning program from the outdoor stage, 10:00 - 11:00am. The event is rain or shine.

 

 Did you know?

Piedmont Music Therapy is a National Roster Internship Program through the American Music Therapy Association. More information on the internship program at PMT is linked here.

 

With new music therapy interns starting their training programs in January or August annually, PMT is asking for help finding ~8 month rental options for the students to choose from. Please email us if you have leads on affordable options that may be forwarded for their consideration!

The next in-person course for music therapists "Practical Ways to Better incorporate and Play The Piano" will be offered on Saturday, June 1, 2024 in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Theresa Camilli, MT-BC will lead the 2 Credit CMTE. Learner objectives & course details are linked here.

6/10/24 

 

Social skills groups will return next month! Music therapists will facilitate them with plans to offer different programs for peers aged 5-7; 8-10; 11-14 years & young adults with music therapy as the creative connection for socialization.

 

Groups will meet 6-8 weeks and last 30 - 60 minutes per group, pending clients' ages.

 

Reach out via email or phone if you are considering whether a music therapy group program may benefit your child or loved one.
