December

 REALL Friends,

We are just moving right along into the Christmas Season. I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I know it came and went so fast. I forgot to take one picture of our family trip. I guess that's a sign that a good time was had OR that it may have been a trip to forget...LOL

This is an exciting month for me. I am getting ready to go to Chicago to take my final course with Freedom Academy. I am working on my certification to become a Freedom Coach. I will have accomplished over 100 hours of instruction and coaching practice when I'm done. I started this journey during Covid with a group of women on Zoom. It just scratched the surface and sparked a desire to know more about healing stories of trauma. As an empath and someone who believes that every person is a child of God and has a purpose and a belonging on this earth. I wanted to help women through the difficulty of working through their stories of trauma. After a lot of one on one and group coaching sessions with my own story, I have grown and healed. I am a believer in this process more than ever. I can't wait to share more with you when I return. Please keep me in your prayers this weekend for safe travels and a successful completion of what may be one of my greatest personal accomplishments.

We are loving our meetings with our guest speakers. It's been so great to hear stories of faith, passion, and calling. Last month we enjoyed hearing Nesha Pai's story of transformation from Hinduism to Christianity. She is a true treasure and we are grateful for her willingness to share her story. This month we have decided to take a break from meeting due to the holiday hustle and bustle.

We will be feeding the homeless and collecting Blessing Bags for Urban Promise families to have over the holiday break.

May you all know that I hold you near and dear to my heart. I pray that your Christmas will be blessed with Relationships, Encouragement, Accountability with loads of Love and Laughter!

Our November meeting with guest speaker, Nesha Pai. Thank you Nesha for sharing your testimony with us. You are amazing.

Our REALL sisters praying over Nesha. I love the hearts of these women.

Shout out to Anne Sluder, Kimberli Spolar and Annette Hanks for providing Thanksgiving meals to all three of LHD's

transitional homes. We collected enough

money to cover the cost of these meals.

We helped provide a few bicycles for the kids in Shenique's hometown, Exuma, Bahamas. Way to Go REALL Women!!!!

We collected a car load of pajamas and toiletries that will be given to Congregation for Kids. These kids that are in the foster care system need the basic essentials. They are often removed from their homes with what they are wearing. We are so glad to be able to support CFK and fill in the gap any way that we can.

Blessing Bags for Urban Promise, Dec. 14th

We will be delivering and passing out Blessing Bags to our friends and families of Urban Promise. These food bags will help them during the holiday break. Our plan is to be there and pass the bags out as the parents and kids leave the holiday celebration. I will let you know the time. You are welcome to drop the bags off at my house anytime before Dec. 14th. Leave them on my side porch. You may also sponsor a bag for $20 and we'll do the shopping for you. See the sign up for details.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

We will NOT be meeting in December. Please mark your calendar for our January meeting on the 17th from 6:30-8:30. We will share a meal and welcome our guest speaker Kelly Kashmer with Nothing Pink. Kelly will be talking to us about her experience with Breast Cancer after taking the BRCA2 test. She has started a non-profit that is focused on providing support to those who are affected by breast and ovarian cancer.

We are preparing for our February annual Jane's Sparkle tribute. We will be collecting lipstick and earrings to package for the infusion centers in our area. Start collecting and sharing this with all of your friends and family. More info to come.

The country of Haiti is suffering with extreme poverty and homelessness. They are hungry and most struggle to feed their families everyday. If you are looking for a charity to help, please consider Mission of Hope/Team Hope. Just $10 a month feeds a child for a month. You may also choose to sponsor a child monthly. By doing so, it guarantees them an opportunity to go to school and be fed daily. I was there in 2017 and I can assure you the need is there and MOH is a wonderful organization. I can't say enough of them.
