Welcome to the January 2022 edition of the NOW Innovation Forum Newsletter.

We are excited to share and announce new opportunities, tools, and resources as well as set our intentions for the year ahead of us. Thank you for your commitment to children, families, and communities and for joining us as we journey through another year together.

The NOW 2022 Webinar Series “Levers of Change in Action: Unpacking the NOW Playbook” will launch in March 2022. Through this series we’ll hear from NOW Learning Community members and others who are applying the levers of change outlined in the NOW Playbook in their communities.

NOW Peer Learning Clusters

 

Are you interested in learning how communities across the country are engaging families in their work or addressing the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and trauma or building the capacity of the early childhood education workforce?  

 

We invite you to join one of the NOW Peer Learning Clusters exploring these topics.

Opportunities Across the Village

National Equity Atlas Fellowship 

 

Through the Equity Data Fellowship, the National Equity Atlas (a partnership between PolicyLink and the USC Equity Research Institute) will work with 12 grassroots leaders of color to sharpen their data skills and produce new data visualizations, dashboards, factsheets, or other research products to strengthen their organization’s policy campaigns. Applications are open through January 21, 2022, and the program will start in March 2022.

University of South Florida M3 Center on Inclusive and Ethical Leadership

 

Free course features 40 TEDx style sessions (10-30mins) from 50+ experts from all corners of the world covering cutting-edge research and best practices under 8 sections. This is a self-paced, free course in which the participants can start any time and finish by December 31, 2022.

Rural Public Health Workforce Training Network Program

 

Funding to support rural health networks to address the need for more trained health professionals, which has been amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic. The overall program goal is to expand public health capacity by supporting healthcare job development, training, and placement in rural communities. Click here for more information.
