Daniel Johnston’s artwork expresses a complex personal mythology featuring a unique cast of characters and symbols that he developed throughout his lifetime. With his signature medium of colored marker on paper, this drawing features “the Beast,” a multi-headed character inspired by the Book of Revelation.
