Spring Newsletter

It is hard to imagine that it has been over one year since we transitioned to remote services due to Covid-19. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us through this transition and helped us stay afloat. We really have demonstrated that the power of music transcends physical boundaries and continues to play an essential role in our lives.

Our Spring schedule is currently full, but we anticipate several openings this Summer. Contact us soon if you would like to join our waiting list.

On Friday, April 16th at 7pm over Zoom, Carla Tanguay of Modulations Therapies and Kate Beever of Maine Music and Health will present the results of their pandemic-related songwriting workshops. The talk is part of the Jack Pine Project, a community arts project organized by the Maine Folklife Center at the University of Maine. We will present the songs created during their workshops and discuss the process involved in helping non-musicians create and record their work.

For more information and to register, visit www.jackpineproject.com, email folklife@maine.edu or call the project director at 207-580-1870.
