Hello everyone! I hope you're having a lovely start to your April! The weather here has been unpredictable (as always), but the sun has been making some more frequent appearances, so Spring is definitely here! Read on to see what the last month has brought my way :) |

During the past two shoots with Banned Apparel, I chatted quite a bit with the photographer: Terry Mendoza. He expressed an interest in doing a collaborative shoot, which I happily agreed to, and we started emailing each other with ideas and dates. We finally found a day that worked for both of us and we made it happen! My ideas (as usual) were along the vintage line, and we settled on an Old-Hollywood style portrait idea. Terry is also starting a headshot website, so we shot some fun actors headshots for his growing portfolio. Finally, we played around with some of the props and costumes we'd brought, and came up with some artsy photos that will possibly be published in a magazine sometime soon... Shh! Details to follow ;) |

I was pleased to be asked back to model for Revival again this month! It's always a pleasure to work with the girls, and such fun to see and try on their new season picks before anyone else. Tory Smith was back from Portugal, too, so it was wonderful to work with her again! |

Soho Voices has continued to work well for me, bringing several voiceover jobs my way. It's always such a treat to work with the team and to be asked back for repeat clients :) I also had two singing gigs for care homes through Reminisce Entertainment this past month, including a very special Mothering Sunday performance. So sweet! I'm also collaborating behind the scenes on another singing project, so hopefully I'll have something exciting to announce in the next month or so! |

I also got to know one of the designers during the recent Banned Apparel shoot, and she asked me to audition to be a fit model for the company. I got the job, and have started working semi-regularly with them on their upcoming seasons! ... For those who don't know what Fit Modeling is, let me explain. The designer sends new designs to the manufacturer to be made into samples in standard sizes. The samples are sent back to the designer, and they then need to find a fit model with the same measurements as one of their standard sizes. I happen to fit their size small, so my sessions consist of trying on dozens of new pieces for them to analyze (Does it need a different fabric? Does it need to be taken in? Let out? Raise the neckline? Lower the hem? etc). It's interesting work! |

Erick and I have started taking short weekend trips in March to beat the post-Christmas/late winter blues. These trips also (conveniently) tend to coincide with my birthday! This year, we decided to go visit my childhood friend Esther, who has been living in Vienna for about a decade! We had a lovely time catching up, touring the city, and having LOTS of cakes and desserts. YUMMY! |

Erick had a small role in the new Dumbo film, so he was invited to the Cast and Crew screening in London! I got to be his plus one, and we enjoyed having an early look at the newest Disney live-action remake. Go check it out and cheer for Erick when you see him! Oh! And one more shameless plug: if you haven't checked out Erick's Youtube Channel, click the handy little link below. You'll learn all about the history and uses of herbs and plants (and I've contributed some artwork/animation, as well)! | | |

Well, I guess that about wraps it up for this month! I have several modeling shoots lined up for the next few weeks, plus a little trip as well, so stay tuned to my Instagram and Facebook for more frequent updates. In the meantime, I hope you have a lovely April, Happy Easter, and general happy SPRING! Ciao for now! Rachel |
