The Year's round-up
October - I took my stand at the 'Black History Month Art, Culture and Business Exhibition' at Middleton Hall Centre, Milton Keynes. I had a truly amazing time and made a lasting connection with 'The Friends of the Caribbean' organisation in Milton Keynes who I look forward to working with in 2024.
November - I received a Black History lesson on the Acting industry here in the UK as my 7-week acting workshop came to an close. My cohort was treated to a panel of amazing actors and activists, all legends with the industry such as Bonnie Greer. OBE FRSL and the great Hugh Quarshie both photographed below. It was great to receive advice and feedback for our performance monologues - everyone smashed it on the night!
December- There'll be no pop-up shop at the Luton Mall but it will be happening in the New Year together with my presentation on CLR James at the library in Dalston London - so stay tuned.
