To help us to lead happy, contented, fulfilled lives, it is important to distinguish between our wants and our needs, to recognize and appreciate what we already have. Some people seem to feel grateful more often than others, and those people also tend to be happier, more helpful and forgiving, and less depressed than their less grateful counterparts. 5 Ways to Practice Gratitude - Moments of Gratitude- The sun rose today and so did I. Each morning write a list of 5 things you are grateful for. Tag us on IG @davinalanelle
- Gratitude Jar- Write daily notes of gratitude. Pick a note to read on hard days.
- Create Intentional Time- Set time aside to spend with love ones
- Smile & Laugh Often- It's food for the soul!
- Acts of Kindness- Do something unexpected for others, practice random acts of kindness daily.

DIY Disinfectant Spray During this time finding Lysol Spray is like finding gold, but don't fret! Try this DIY Disinfectant Spray Recipe at home to create your own spray! For disinfectant spray: Pour 1 cup Alcohol (70% or higher is best) Add 1 TBSP hydro peroxide Add 10 drops essential oil •lavender •lemon eucalyptus •tea tree •peppermint •cinnamon Stir solution Add to bottle For disinfectant wipes: Add solution to baby wipes (I used honest wipes) Or Accordion fold paper towels, cut in half. Place paper towels in plastic container. Pour solution over paper towels. Use Saran Wrap to wrap the container, cut a slit in the wrap to pull wipes through |

This Week's #ZenMoment As a result of COVID-19 many of us are working from home or not working at all. During this time it is important to be intentional with our self care. This week think about how you can improve your morning & night routines. Why is a morning routine important? It helps to boost energy, release anxiety, create positivity and increase productivity. Morning Routine to Start Your Day Off Right - Don't just jump out of the bed, take a few minutes, roll onto your right side & slowly push yourself up. Take a moment to stretch
- Let in light & Make your bed
- Avoid social media when you first wake up
- Take a moment to express gratitude
- Meditate to clear your mind
- Drink water & Eat breakfast
- Write your daily intentions list
- Move your body with some form of exercise [walk, run, jog, yoga etc.]
- Gain morning motivation [read, listen to a podcast, listen to music]
- Speak affirmations
- Take your vitamins
Why is a night time routine is important? Night time is a good time to renew your mind. It helps to release stress & anxiety as well as create productivity. Night Time Routine to Unwind & Relax - No electronics 2 hours before bedtime, do not sleep with them in the bed
- Tea before bed [chamomile is great!]
- Write in gratitude journal
- Eat a healthy dinner
- Read or listen to relaxing sounds
- Organize & Pick Up
- Nightly Skincare [skin cells do their greatest renewal & repair at night]
- Set the mood [lite incense or spray aromatherapy]
