Christmas Clothing

As the holiday season approaches, we at Shannon Court are looking forward to celebrating this festive time with all of our service users.

We understand the importance of making these moments special and personal, which is why we encourage you to bring in festive clothing for your loved ones to help spread the holiday cheer.

To ensure that every item of Christmas clothing finds its way back to its rightful owner, we kindly ask you to mark each piece with the resident's name (in indelible ink please). This small step will help us immensely in organising and maintaining these items, so they can be enjoyed throughout the season and for many more to come.

Bringing a touch of the holiday spirit into our Home is a wonderful way to create a warm, festive atmosphere for everyone. Your efforts in personalising your loved ones' attire with festive garments brighten both their days and the days of our staff!

Christmas Activities

December at Shannon Court has been a whirlwind of festive cheer already! We've had singers coming in for a sing and a dance, VR experiences and choirs so far and we have plenty of events and activities scheduled throughout the month, including a panto, family bingo and more live performances up to the New Year.

We have also been taking part in a virtual choir using Zoom every few weeks with our residents. We are joined by other residents from around the country by using webcams to interact with each other.

On Wednesday 13th December, we are having a Christmas party for families and residents beginning at 1.30pm, come and join us if you can!

On Thursday 14th December, this will be a Christmas Choir, where we will be able to sing our favourite Christmas songs with our friends from other Homes around the UK.

We have prepared our Christmas menus, which includes classic dishes, buffets and sweet treats, all tailored to each individuals preferences and diets.

If you would like any further information about our Christmas activities, please speak with our activities team at the Home.

Thank you once again for joining our mailing list. We look forward to seeing you all again soon, stay safe!

We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
