YCL E-NEWS August 2022 Have a Look at What’s New for York County Library! |
As part of this year's summer reading incentive for meeting our goal, Library Director Jason Hyatt agreed to kiss Daisy, "the most famous pig in the world!" Daisy stopped by with her pug friend, "Dixie Cup," to share pig noises, treats, and a story from her owner, Farmer Minor. |
Everyone had a great time "pigging out" with Daisy as we learned all about her pampered porcine life, how she became so famous, taking the "Daisy Pledge" to keep reading, … and seeing her pucker up for kisses from staff and the audience! |

YCL is working to help build consumer awareness about the FCC's Affordable Connectivity Program, which replaced the Emergency Broadband Benefit on December 31, 2021. To learn more about the discounts, eligibility, and how to apply, click here or visit www.fcc.gov/acp. For more assistance or resources available for the York County community, check out our Community Links page.
