ANNOUNCING...

Standards-in-Action Survey of Curriculum & Resources

You may recall from past Policy Forums that the CSDE and a team of local practitioners participated in the OCTAE-supported Standards-in-Action (SIA) State-Curriculum Review training for Math and English language Arts (ELA) last spring.  As part of that initiative, CSDE created a two-year sustainability plan with the goal of having Math and ELA model curricula appropriate for adult learners widely available to all adult educators across Connecticut. We are now ready to begin the implementation part of the plan in collaboration with ATDN.

The first phase of this plan includes collecting information from Adult Education ABE, GED Prep, and CDP Instructors about the current Math and English Language Arts curricula and resources used in the field. This will be done through a survey linked here - Standards-in-Action Adult Education Survey of Curriculum & Resources. This survey will take approximately 10 minutes. The due date to complete this survey is Friday, November 19th.
