I hope you are feeling more grounded in Love as we have dug into the Word this month, harvesting verses on God's Love and ways to cultivate Love with each other. Do stamps have you stumped? This post shares how I developed a "Rooted & Grounded in Love" page and includes a process video to encourage you in the technique of stamping. The Rooted in Love template set is now available if you'd like to give it a try! |

Do you get inspired seeing pages that other Bible Quilters have done? Keep them coming, friends! Post your pages in the Facebook group and/or in the BQ Community Forum...one page can spark an idea that may help someone linger on her page a little longer, enjoying that special time with the Lord. Spur One Another On... Here's a "Love is" page by Alice from Alabama. |

Want a quick way to share BQJ with a friend, but don't have time to create a page for them? I converted my John 3:16 page into a color printable that you can add to your own BQ journal or pass along to share. This would also be an easy way to demonstrate how to attach a template into a #biblequiltjournal that you may be gifting to a loved one. |

February in the ABC Bible Quilt Journal For this last week of February, "H" is our focus. Here's a page on Humility that my neighbor, Mary Jo, did in her #abcbiblequiltjournal in honor of her grandkids. Looking for a way to nurture your grandchildren's spiritual growth? Engaging with them by focusing on character traits is a great way to personalize scripture in ways young children can understand it. The letter-of-the-week focus can provide you with a loose structure to follow. Eisfor... F is for... G is for... H is for |

Grandparents can use #biblequilting as a way to engage their grandkids in the Word, sparking their curiosity and creativity even long-distance. Recently I wrote this guest post for "Legacy Coalition: Grandparenting Matters" that might give you some ideas for your own grands! (If you've recently joined us via that group, welcome aboard! We're delighted to have you in this BQ community. Please respond to me by email with the word LEGACY so I know that's how you found me.) Developing a spiritual legacy involves establishing ourselves in the Word and learning how to extend ourselves through the love of Christ. I hope Bible Quilting is a helpful tool for you to tangibly document your spiritual legacy. We had a good chat about this in Part 2 of our BQ chat this week. |
