Dear members of the International Association of Legislation (IAL),
In this newsletter, we bring you the latest news during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Firstly, Dr. Ittai Bar-Siman-Tov continues to look for contributions for a report on parliamentary activity of countries across the globe during the crisis. If you wish to contribute, you can download the survey here.
Secondly, we are happy to announce that Dr. William Robinson has recently joined IAL's Board of Members. He will be in charge of promoting better EU legislation.
Meanwhile, several conferences and courses on Legislative Drafting, Legislation, and Public Law have been postponed. We have prepared a summary of these events which you can see here. If you are participating or attending other events, especially related to COVID-19, please contact us and we will share it with the rest of IAL's members.
Last but not least, we would like to thank all who have contributed to the Special Issue of the journal Theory and Practice of Legislation on legislative responses to the Coronavirus. Don't forget to use your 20% off discount when subscribing to the journal here.
Wishing you good readings and all the best in these troubled times,
Your IAL Team
