Our Personal Development programme offers opportunities for all students to live these aims so they can lead safe and successful lives and pursue a pathway that will offer the best life chances. We want to set them up with the knowledge needed to make decisions, build their character and help them to develop into stronger people.
This month’s ‘Heart News’ and our Personal Development Blog gives you a flavour of the many opportunities that girls can get involved in. If your daughter doesn’t take part in a Period 6 club already, please look through our Extra Curricular booklet with her to see where her interests may lie. The booklet can be found in the Personal Development section of our website and has just been updated for the spring term.

We are very proud to be the leading hub school in the north for the Royal Shakespeare Company and are delighted they will be performing ‘Romeo and Juliet’ in our very own auditorium at 6pm on Tuesday 5th March. Eventually, all our students will study ‘Romeo and Juliet’ as it is a set text for GCSE English Literature, so this is a great opportunity for our girls to experience this wonderful play being performed by the RSC, the most famous theatre company in our country. It would be great to see lots of our students and their parents at this event. Tickets are available via this link:
