Today we continue our celebration of the Ascension of the Lord. Christ’s earthly ministry ends when he ascends into heaven, having promised that the Father will send Holy Spirit to his disciples. In the collect we pray that we ‘in heart and mind’ may also ascend there ‘and with him continually dwell’. |

ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETING today after Mass. The APCM is the legal meeting of the church required each year by the Church of England. The meeting will be kept very short. Anyone can attend the meeting, and those on the Electoral Roll can vote. We elect Churchwardens and PCC members, receive reports on the life of the parish in 2022, including the financial accounts. This year we also elect two members to represent the parish on Redbridge Deanery Synod for a three-year period. Nomination forms for all three elections are at the back of the church. |

REGULAR GIVING Giving to fund the ministry of the Church is an essential part of our Christian faith. We are struggling, so, please, if you don’t already, consider giving a regular amount. No amount is too small. Using our parish giving plan is easy and you are in full control (and Margaret Quinney will be pleased to help you if needed). For one-off donations please use the card machine at the back of church or the offering plate for cash. |
