New Year Update

As we are currently operating under Level 5 restrictions, we again must close our Youth Cafe and move our groups online.

For information on all our online activities just send us a message by clicking the button below.

Stay safe and look after each other. We've done it once before, we will do it again.

Student Leap Cards

We now offer our Student Leap Card verification service online. Follow the easy 5 step process to receive your card without any need to come into the Youth Café, helping us to minimise our social contacts.

Don't forget to complete your apllication on the Student Leap Card website.

Leaving Cert Support

After discussing with our young members how best to help them with their studies, we have established a peer led student support group for those sitting the Leaving Certificate.

This will be an opportunity to discuss issues with home study, get advise on CAO and DARE/HEAR applications as well as learn motivational and study tips to get you through the lockdown.

The group meets every Tuesday from       6-7MP on Zoom.

For more information email us on: info@youthworkirelandmeath.ie

LightBulb Club

Lisa and Brian are back every Wednesday evening from 5-6PM online with a whole host of fun activities, games, arts and crafts, all happening online during level 5 restrictions.

We are always delighted to see new faces and if you have a young person aged from 10 -12 years, then contact Lisa on

Young People in Direct Provision

In October 2020, following the report from the Advisory Group on Direct Provision, Youth Work Ireland set about surveying the work done by member youth services in these settings.

In Meath we work with Young People in the Mosney Centre. This work has been impacted by the COVID 19 pandemic, but we continue to be a support to young people living there and advocate on their behalf with the advisory group.

We are looking forward to engaging with the young people in Mosney again. To get a n idea of some of the projects that have been undertaken in Mosney, check out The Icons of Mosney book.

Our Fair Planet

On Thursday January 28th, members from Youth Quake took part in the launch of Our Fair Planet.

The culmination of 6 months work on climate justice, the group were delighted to speak with Mary Robinson and discuss some of the issues and how we can address them, so we can all live in a fairer world.
