Two things we love most at Scriptstuff Poetry; poetry (obvs) and ...festivals!  And chocolate actually, so that's three things.  Oh yes and money and crisps, anyway, this summer we are running all things poetry at several festivals, including Leamington Spa's Art in the Park, the spectacular Camper Calling at Ragley Hall near Stratford-upon-Avon, and the Leamington Poetry Festival in October!

When we're not festivalling (definitely a word) we run monthly Scriptstuff Poetry Nights and other events all over the Midlands.  They've mostly been locked down since March last year of course, but now things are opening up again we are deliriously excited to report that the original Scriptstuff Poetry Night at Temperance Cafe in Leamington Spa returned with real live audiences and performers in August!

The next Scriptstuff Poetry Night is on Wednesday September 15th from 7.00pm.  We will be back at the gorgeous Temperance Cafe in Leamington Spa with the Big Poetry Quiz and our fabulously warm and welcoming open mic sessions (slots available on the door).  This month we are also bringing you a debut feature set from August's Poet of the Month Jessie Dutton, and who knows, if you come along and step up to the open mic like Jessie did the judges may even choose YOU as our next Poet of the Month!  To complete a fabulous evening of entertainment we are hugely excited to welcome along a very special headline guest, the truly captivating Race and Black History Educator, Tré Ventour.  (Photo credit: Kelly Cooper Photography)
