ABOUT OUR MILK
 
Farm Fresh Organic Raw Milk is the best food around.

We are a small homestead farm, milking just 1 cow throughout the calendar year.
 
Our cow's name is Phoenix; she is 5 years old and her genetics is half Brown Swiss, a quarter Scandanavian Red, and a quarter Jersey/Holstein.
 
Phoenix produces about 40 lbs of milk a day (during the grazing season), and will decrease to 20 lbs a day in the winter. Her ration is pasture and minerals/kelp/salt during the grazing season (May - early November) and free choice dry hay, minerals/kelp/salt, and a few lbs of grain in the winter.
 
Phoenix loves interacting with her humans as well as the occasional visitor. Her grassfed milk is delicious, nutritious.

Being a Tier 1 raw milk farm, it is required that customers come to the farm to pick up their milk. Please call/email to place your order, preferably 24 hours in advance. A brief tour of our milking operation is offered for first time customers.
