Hi all,
Three cheers to the Lunar new year! May we all be like the rabbit: clever, witty, deft, and positively cautious.
Here are few updates for January:
The NextGen Voices Magazine: A big thanks to all of you who have submitted to our online magazine! We’ve received submissions from North America, Europe and Asia! Our next submission deadline is April 15. Free submissions!
The NextGen Edu Book Review Project: We have recently partnered with publishers and authors for students to review their newly published multicultural books. Publish a book review and receive a book signed by the author! Free submissions! Although the deadline for the MCBD (Multicultural Children’s Book) event is now over, we’ll make this an ongoing project, so please stay tuned! We’ve built a new website for the book review project and will have the selected book reviews published soon!
Our first ever science-themed Camp Nano! K-12 students, come write, edit and publish a book with a scientist and author this April! I have invited my science fellow, Dr. Ann Miller, to teach this amazing camp. Dr. Miller holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from CIT and a B.A. in Chemistry from University of Pennsylvania. She is a former senior research scientist at CNA corporation; and has recently founded Science is Element. Students will take 5 weekly group lessons and 2 individual 1-on-1 classes with Dr. Miller, so sign up now to secure your spot!
Best,
Jiang Pu, Ph.D.
