To Our Farm Friends,
During these times of uncertainty
Share the Harvest Farm is working to provide fresh, local produce
to those in the community who may not be able to shop or, when they do, to find enough vegetables on the store shelves.
We are pleased to announce that for the next few months until we open our farm stand, tentatively scheduled for May 14, 2020, Share The Harvest Farm will offer a "Bag-a-Week" program to residents from Amagansett to Wainscott, initially accepting 20 orders as we evaluate our ability to expand.
With produce from a North Fork farm that also has a farm in Florida, we will deliver to you a shopping bag filled with a rainbow of vegetables weighing approximately 12 to 15 pounds, which will include at least 10 selections such as broccoli, cauliflower, Swiss chard, lettuce, radishes, butternut squash, green beans, scallions, mesclun, baby spinach, carrots, bell peppers, leeks, or others. We will try to vary the vegetables each week.
Orders must be placed by noon on Tuesday for Friday deliveries. Participation each week is not required; you can sign up week by week, paying online each week you want to re-stock.
The cost for each generously filled bag is $60, including delivery. We are hoping to continue this service until May 4th.
