Hello, from the LANCE Trust’s small but busy team. We really appreciate your support: signing up to our newsletter, following our Facebook page and volunteering (see below for further opportunities to help out).

Our mission, as ever, is to improve biodiversity in and around Long Ashton.

💙 In memory of Sam Rogers

All members and supporters of LANCE are much appreciated, but one trustee and founding member holds a very special place in our hearts.

Sam Rogers was an integral, inspirational and vibrant member of the Trust who loved working with people of all ages and abilities to help the natural world thrive. As such, she was a guiding star for many of us and we will miss her greatly, though her spirit and soul will remain with us for years to come.

We've written more about the wonderful Sam here and have been deeply moved by her suggestion of donations to LANCE in her memory.

🐦 Swifts arrive in Long Ashton

The first few swifts have been spotted in Long Ashton after their vast migration from Africa. Join the Long Ashton Swift Project group on Facebook for updates and sightings, or to add your own.
