Hello friends, We write to you hoping you are safe and healthy, and finding ways to enjoy being outside. We are currently busy with designs and installations and are complying with CDC guidelines for social distancing by requiring all team members to wear masks and conducting all meetings outside. With so much time at home, now is a great time to start designing for fall garden installations. Creating an outdoor room or making modifications to your garden expands your useable space and allows you to enjoy your outdoor living. |

Garden as Extension of the Home As we all are confined to our houses it becomes ever so clear how the garden is an extension of our homes. Your outdoor space should not only be beautiful and inspiring, but functional and comfortable. We want to support and guide you as you transform your space into one for total enjoyment and living. |

Conceptualization First, you must envision how you want to use your outdoor space. Do you want it to be a place to cook and eat? Relax and lounge? Entertain? Swim? Make Zoom calls? Or a combination of functions? How many people will use the space? As you envision different outdoor spaces we digitally render different designs and collaborate on creating the best fit for you. No matter how small or large a space, it is important to visualize what is important to you so we transform it into something you love. |

Function After we re-envision the way your space will be used, we will assess the structural changes needed to realize this vision. We will provide ceilings from wind and sun underneath a tree canopy, or sturdy umbrella; and install hardscaping to demarcate the floor of your outdoor room. We will focus on the flow and movement through space— how do you want to move through and/ or separate spaces? And, what kind of furniture will you want to use in your new space: built-in benches, sofas, a dining table, or maybe bar stools? Whether it's a built-in grill, bar area, or water feature we will incorporate these design elements in a functional and aesthetic way. |

A Cozy Space It is important to give your outdoor space the same level of detail and quality as you do for the interior of your home. In this garden we introduced a large sectional sofa which can conveniently be separated into different pods for a family that loves entertaining. |

Small Touches and Finishing the Space Small touches can feel just as remarkable as large ones, on this rooftop garden the hanging petunia baskets add a lot, and are the first thing the homeowner sees as they walk up the stairs onto the roof. Or, the low voltage LED light illuminates the Japanese Maple at night and gives the space a cozy, warm feel. Your garden is your living space and should bring you joy. We strive to make changes that will help you feel safe, relaxed, and inspired during quarantine. |
