Hello! Happy Pride Month! Happy Juneteenth! Happy summer! This month in writing life, things are continuing to look up! My story, "The Thinker's Head is a Cage" will be available for reading on the Cosmorama website later this month. A prose poem of mine will be published by an online journal that I cannot yet name later this summer. And my story "Birds of Sky, Shadows of Earth" will be published in Inked In Gray Press's Affection Anthology toward the end of the year (more on that below!). I have a few pieces still out on submission, but I'm shifting my focus back to producing new work for now. In home life, the tree pollen is kicking my butt right now, but also school is out for the summer! Well, for me. My children are still grinding for a couple more weeks. But I am planning to turn off my alarm, kick back, hop myself up on Claritin, and enjoy the beautiful weather. Thanks again for subscribing. See below for further updates, recommendations, and promotions. |

I'm not mad about this at all. |

| | Read Described as "high fantasy and low stakes," this cozy novel about a battle-weary orc that aims to open the first ever coffee shop in her city sounds like a perfect summer read to me. | | |
| | Watch Neil Gaiman. Dead Boy Detectives. Refusing the afterlife and helping restless spirits in the mortal realm instead. If your alley is like my alley, this will be up it. | | |
| | Listen A songwriter who has worked with Ariana Grande and others, Victoria Monet's knows how to make some catchy and beautiful bops. Give her a listen. | | |
| | Play Do you like Greek mythology? Do you like rogue-like, hack-and-slash dungeon crawlers? If yes to either or both, check out this multi-award winning game. | | |

It's been a minute, but I finally crocheted some stuff! We recently bought some new end tables with attached lamps because SOMEONE (my two year old; it was my two year old) knocked over our old floor lamp. The new end tables made me feel guilty about water stains, so I made some summery coasters. |
