Sewing Machine 101/201
Make friends with a sewing machine in our shop, or bring yours from home. We will take you through the basics of machine operation and safety, and guide you toward sewing a project.
In Sewing Machine 201, build on the skills you've gained in Sewing Machine 101. Is there a sewing project that interests you, or that you want to complete? How can your newly-gained sewing machine skills help you achieve that goal? This is the place and time to learn!
These classes are great for ages 10 & up (or younger with an adult present).
Prerequisite: Sewing Machine 101
Offered Tuesday, August 14th
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Serger 101/201
Sergers can be a little intimidating but they are great sewing tools once you understand how to use and adjust them to suit your project! In the 101 class, learn the basics of threading and tension. For Serger 201, you've learned the basics but want to go further! Bring your serger, or sit down at the shop sergers. If you bring your own, don't forget your serger's manual and all its feet, too!

Create your own unique mini macramé wall hanging! You'll learn how to use different types of knotting techniques such as square knots and half hitches, to make your fiber art piece. Bring any yarn you'd like to work with or use what we have available in Scrappy Land!

Crochet Sewing Machine Doily
This little doily is for your sewing machine spool pin, which holds your thread. On this spool pin there's usually just a small round piece of felt. In this class you'll learn how to make your own fun and functional piece for your machine!
