We are on the move and I just want to say a big, "Thanks!" to those who have been praying for us.
I will be posting pictures on our Facebook page over the next few days of the CHILDREN'S MINISTRY INSTITUTE here in the Philippines. There are Children's Ministry leaders that will be coming to this from over 30 nations, including Fiji, Tonga, Bhutan, Vietnam, and just all over. Assemblies of God World Missions is making a huge investment in resources and finances to help bring these Treasures of God (children's ministry leaders) to the Mountain City of Baguio for training, equipping, vision expansion, and encouragement. I personally want to thank each one of you that is supporting us so that I can be a part of this as well.
Besides being involved in the teaching I want to network and finds out who is doing what, and what resources are available where. We are blessed to be a blessing and we want to take this vision of children being used in ministry after being impacted by fillings of the Holy Spirit and spread it all over.... "A sower went out to sow...."
Every one of your prayers and missions dollars has a song over it that sings, "This is good seed!"
It was a lot of traveling for me to get here and I had difficulty sleeping on the flights. After arriving I ate some food here and there, and this morning after breakfast I started feeling like I was getting sick. My head started hurting, and my body started feeling aches, and I started feeling nauseous. As I prayed the words, "The same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead shall quicken your mortal body," I felt the Holy Spirit's touch upon me. The headache went away, the pains in my body dissipated, and I felt so much better. It was really glorious!
Thank you so much for keeping me in prayer during this monumental multi-national Children's Ministry event that will hugely impact a great number of nations on this side of the world. If you could, also pray for my hero Diane Laws who is here with me and very much involved with organization and preparation for this.
And please keep Kim in prayer as well. She will fly out to Namibia this week, leaving on the 22nd, arriving in Namibia on the 24th.
Once again, we'll post events and pics in real-time on Facebook, but remember, we are 12 hours behind you here on this side of the planet.
Thanks again,
Mark
