NEW CLASS!

DROP SPINDLE SPINNING

May 19, 9AM - Noon

by Cheri Paxson

This basic drop spindle class will teach you everything you need to know on how to get started with a drop spindle.  This form of spinning is a wonderful way to take your spinning “on the go” and teach you to take control over your “single’s”.  This simple technique can take your yarn to Blue Ribbon winner’s! (It did for Cheri!)  Class fee is $30.  Spinning kits are available for $35 Kit includes: Drop spindle handout, PVC Knitty Knotty (taking yarn off of spindle), a Schadt Drop Spindle 1 ½ oz Top Whorl and 1oz llama roving. Additional  roving of other fiber is available for purchase at the

Fleece Factory.

Go to the Classes Page on our Website to sign up.

Cheri Paxson from Longmont Colorado.  Not only is she a fiber enthusiast, but a knitting entrepreneur who opened Pax Knits in 1988 and designs knitwear for the recreation industry.  She currently designs and teaches out of her “Art Barn” in rural Longmont where she raises fiber llamas and alpacas!  We are very excited to have her teach this class out at the Fleece Factory on May 19th so be sure to join us and bring a friend!

Roving Bumps

The Fleece Factory of the Rockies now offers roving rolled into bumps!  We will now be rolling all roving orders into 8oz bumps or rolls when you order roving.  This will take the place of roving just "loose in the bag" if the fiber will allow!  If you still prefer roving loose in the bag you may request it.  Just another great service that the Fleece Factory can offer you and your business!
