Call for Demos!

We've had some fascinating demos in our shop including Machine Embroidery, Tatting, and Machine Knitting.  We just know that there's more out there so if you have a fiber craft that you'd like to share, let us know!  You can get in touch by visiting our Contact page, and share your craft!

Project Goals

We have more projects to share with you!  It's so refreshing to see the variety of creative items that everyone is making with materials purchased at SewGreen@Rochester!

Faith purchased some fun patterned jean fabric at the shop, and made these adorable baby bibs!  We love the bright lining, and the little pocket details with cute trims.

Maura and her husband reupholstered these chairs using upholstery fabric purchased at our shop last September.  They truly turned out beautifully!

Eileen, Linda, and Joanna found fun fabric at SewGreen@Rochester and got inspired by the Make an Apron class back in February!  Eileen's reversible apron is made with two kinds of veggie fabric.  It has contrasting pockets and ties.  Linda found super retro fabric, which she paired with black contrast and charming rickrack.  Joanna found cute tea cup/tea pot fabric, and made her apron with contrasting yellow fabric for the trims and lining.  Keep an eye out for the next Make an Apron class!

Thank you all for sharing your pictures, and for your donations!  If you'd like to share pictures of your projects with us, please send an email to - sewgreenrochester@gmail.com.

Patchwork Tote Bag

Just some of the delightfully creative work by Josefina from her Patchwork Tote Bag class!  Be sure to keep an eye out for more classes like this by frequently checking our Classes page, or stopping by the shop to pick up a calendar.  Also, if you have an idea for a class you'd like to see at SewGreen, please visit our Contact page and share it with us!
