Book Club: Thursday, July 28 at 6:30 p.m.
Book Club will meet at the home of Ann McCarthy on Thursday, July 28 at 6:30 pm. Discussion of our selection, Still Life with Bread Crumbs by Anna Quindlan, will be led by Debbie Gremmelsbacher. Several of our regulars will be unable to attend this month, but certainly hope we will have a good turnout. Please RSVP to Ann by Monday, July 25 and let her know what food dish you plan to bring. NOTE: On Tuesday evening, August 2, PBS TV (Channel 9) is broadcasting a program about the 1936 Olympics, which is the setting of our September book selection, Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown. Watching the program would be a good intro to the time and atmosphere of the book itself!

From the intersection of I-40 & I-270, go North on I-270.
Go NORTH on I-270 to Ladue Road Exit - Turn RIGHT (EAST)
The first light is Ballas; the second light is Mosley. Ladue Estates is two car lengths past Mosley on the right (south) side. Turn right and proceed all the way to the back. Please fill up both sides of the driveway or park on the south or west sides of the street. To keep peace in the neighborhood, do not park on both sides of the street.
