Are driveways back the way they were? Willow Park 2022 Street Improvement Project.

Summary: For the fourth Council Meeting in a row, Citizens addressed the Council with their requests for the City to keep its promises made during the 2022 Street Improvement Project: to put the function of their driveways, bar ditches, and city easements back the way they were before the City's "Street Improvements."

No means NO Fireworks in Willow Park.

Fireworks are illegal to possess, use, and sell inside the city limits of Willow Park. If you set off fireworks inside the city, you could be cited and fined, and, if any damage occurs, you could be charged with arson. Instead, attend the Hudson Oaks or Weatherford professional fireworks displays.

Majority of Texans say an electrical grid failure could come this summer, as ERCOT predicts Texas electricity demand could nearly double in six years.

Summary: The number of Texans covered by the state's electric power grid is 26 million. No wonder "a new poll from the University of Texas at Austin's Texas Politics Project found a majority of Texans believe an electrical grid failure could occur this summer." Still ERCOT insists our Texas grid is good to go for summer.

Willow Park is growing 232 acres in land, 1+ in business, and 100+ in residential. Annexation on FM 1187.

Summary: Willow Park is in the process of annexing approximately 232 acres along FM 1187 and Bankhead Highway East. In order to complete the annexation, the city will also annex approximately 11 acres of East Bankhead Highway and approximately 1.034 acres of FM 1187.

The wastewater effluent line from the new WWPT to the Squaw Creek Golf Club is completed.

Summary: To diminish the effects of effluent water in the Clear Fork Trinity River, which runs through the back yards of our southern neighbors, Willow Park has built a pipeline from the new Willow Park Wastewater Treatment Plant to a retention pond at the Squaw Creek Golf Course.
