I've got some great news — our first review blurb for our memoir Dear Mr Andrews is in!
Let your inner voyeur loose for this bodacious memoir! Meet a sugar baby and her many daddies up close, in a saga told to our Mr Andrews, Lotte Latham’s confessor, her muse. Lotte is enchanting company, exuberant, ever frank, wise in her self-reflective whirl. Her lively voice comes alive; she’s a fine stylist of sparkling prose. Go ahead, take a deep peek. She’ll show you “how much loneliness there is in the world,” among so many life lessons. This book is Lotte’s clarion call for compassion.
~Karla Linn Merrifield, author of My Body the Guitar, 2021 National Book Award Nominee
Many thanks to Karla for this! The full review will be up on her blog soon.
Lotte and I have been editing Dear Mr Andrews for about two months and now that it's finally on its way into the world, it's starting to feel exciting. This is the moment when a book transforms — it's no longer mine and no longer Lotte's. Now it belongs to the reader. A thrilling and tantalising and nerve-racking moment. But wonderful!
We'll keep you posted on reviews as they come in. The release date is 18 January. If you'd like to pre-order a copy of Dear Mr Andrews, here's the link: gutspublishing.com/product-page/dear-mr-andrews
Also, I wanted to remind you that tomorrow is the last day of our Christmas sale. In the meantime you can get a copy of The Peanut Factory, our 70s squatter memoir, on Amazon worldwide with next day delivery. Oh, I know, gasp, I'm promoting Amazon. Alas, at least you know where you can get it.
