It's a wrapping for the Kids Club

السلام عليكم

(Peace be unto you)

The Aafiyah Kids Club group completed their very last workshop for the 2020-21 school year. The goal of the club is to help kids establish a healthy lifestyle from a very young age and improve reading literacy.

From October through March, the Kids Club covered six themes: Child Wellness Visit; People with Different Abilities; Healthy Teeth, Healthy Gum; Eat Your Fruits & Veggies; My Feelings ... managing emotions; and Active Body, Happy Brain.

Healthy Lifestyle: in monthly workshop sessions, kids engaged with professionals in the health fields to better understand what a healthy lifestyle looks like and how to adopt such a lifestyle.

Literacy: kids also read up on the monthly theme via story books and educational videos in weeks leading up to the workshop.
