Good Lord what happened here.

I bought the Ohuhu Sketchbook SPECIFICALLY to putz around in it.

And boy did I putz.

Been wanting to try out gilding leaf for awhile and welp, Amazon Prime days happened.

Can you tell I had never done this before? I can tell.

What did we learn?

Not Mod Podge. Never Mod Podge. Dried IMMMMMMMEDIATELY, didn't give me time to have a tacky phase to glue the gold leaf on. God-dang.

If you guys enjoy watching me putz, I recently received... WAY too much stuff from Ohuhu and I'm going to be filming some content using those supplies.

The Calligraphy set is going to be SUPER fun, seeing as I'm left-handed.

Oi.

I genuinely only expected like a small 6-pack of markers, maybe a liner or two; Of all the "hold my beer" moments I've witnessed, this is the hold my beer-est.

I had received 12 markers from OLO last month and Ohuhu was not gonna let that pass without retaliation, I suppose.

I WILL make good use of these, mind you, and I AM thankful. I'm just still under the shock!

This is the cheep sheet.

Buuuut, I'm a complete newbie and didn't want to spend the money on the good stuff just yet, so if I hadda screw up, I wouldn't feel as bad.

Pros:

• You get a lot of sheets per color, and you get a lot of colors.

• BRILLIANT shine, can't complain

Cons:

• Solid. No really. It's actually kinda hard to get the leaf to leaf. Good for when you're new at it and don't wanna rip the sheet by existing too close to it, but it doesn't break down easy enough once it's glued to the surface.

• You gonna need a stiff brush is what I'm saying.

 Expected:

• So messy. Wear a mask. Apply masks. You THINK glitter is hard to get off stuff.

 ⭐⭐⭐ first time I say a product needs to be weaker.

Woowee, now we're talking!

I can't comment on the bigger sizes, but I own the ballpoint pen and it is just *chef's kiss*

It succeeded where mod podge failed as an adhesive, and it's actually easier to see when it turns tacky because it applies blue and dries clear! (I know the instructions says for a permanent bond, use when wet and blue, but gold leafing -doesnotworklikethat-)
