Community Resilience: When Help Comes Knocking |
|
|
Recently, we reached out for help when our wood lot manager, James, faced medical issues and machinery repairs threatened closure. But our incredible community stepped up like never before. From local churches, App State, to the Mountain Alliance, groups came week after week to replenish the woodpile. With your support, we have enough wood to last through summer, ensuring our neighbors can heat their homes and cook their meals year-round. |
