Yin & Sound Bath for the Heart of Winter

Happy 2024! I'm offering a special series starting in February, and more to come soon!

Our coastal world being frozen in shimmering ice crystals last week was in keeping with the cosmos. The astrology of 2024 pointed to this being a particularly slow-start sort of year. I've certainly felt this in my own rhythms. I thank you all for your patience as I've been hibernating and gestating what is coming next.

While the Gregorian calendar tells us we should be in a hustle-and-bustle New Year frenzy, making resolutions and plans, our bodies and nature are telling us to slow down, drop-in, and reflect.

With this, I have paused some of my classes, to pick up in exciting new ways and spaces in the Spring. BUT beginning in early February I am offering a very cozy & special Sound Bath and Yin Yoga series! We'll meet for 5 sessions of singing bowls, chimes, crystal harp and other healing frequencies, paired with yin yoga. I will also guide inner reflection visualizations for the heart of winter, and offer some warming aromatherapy blends. This is a special energy healing series and space is limited, so I recommend booking ahead of time if you can. Details are below. Hope to see you there!

Winter Yin Yoga & Sound Bath Series

The heart of winter is a time for soft inward-reflection. Rejuvenate your nervous system, reset your energy centers, and drop into ease each week in this 5-session limited series on MONDAY evenings.

We'll move through relaxing, passive yin shapes paired with sound healing via singing bowls, crystal harp, drumming and chimes. Deepen into yourself with this self-healing, energy-balancing weekly practice.

In yin yoga we spend several minutes in each shape, using gravity paired with body weight and breath. This helps to gradually expand & untangle the connective tissue (fascia and ligaments) throughout the body. Yin yoga can significantly improve circulation, increase range of motion, and help prevent injury. This practice of slowing down and deep connection with the body/mind through breath invites parasympathetic nervous system to deeply relax, bringing all systems into natural balance.

The frequencies of sound healing interact with the energy centers of the body. Sound healing can also slow the brainwaves into a restorative state, further activating the body's self-healing mechanisms.

Yin & sound healing paired together is a luxurious recipe to renew and rebalance the mind, body and spirit.

STUDENTS WITH PASSES: Please note that while pricing is different for this series than regular classes, if you have previously purchased a class pass through my website, you are "grandmothered in" and can use your pass to purchase drop-ins for this series.

Note: If pricing is limiting for you, please reach out. I am open to trades and/or offering sliding scale pricing options as needed. No questions asked.
