Introducing: Fostering with Dignity |
Each year, our provisional members, which are members in their first year of service, work together on projects that fulfill the mission of the Junior Women's League of Smithfield. We are excited to announce the FOSTERING WITH DIGNITY project. Many times, foster children are removed from their homes quickly and may not have access to luggage to carry their possessions with dignity. Instead, most children fill a trash bag with whatever they can quickly grab. Our goal is to provide each child with an appropriate duffel bag filled with items they may need. The bags will be grouped by gender/age to provide for specific items needed by certain age groups. All bags will have hygiene products (such as a toothbrush, comb, lotion, shampoo, soap, etc.) and a personal towel. |

HOW YOU CAN HELP: Click here to make a purchase from our Amazon charity wish list. These items are delivered directly to the Junior Women's League of Smithfield and will be divided among all age groups equally. If you prefer to make a contribution of your choosing, monetary donations may be made here. |

For more information or to purchase a Bunny Drop, visit our Event page by March 22, 2020 to give the Easter Bunny's helpers plenty of time to prepare these special deliveries. Thank you for supporting Fostering with Dignity! P.S. - Click here to share The Bunny Drop with your Facebook friends! |
