The new year is off to a great start as we have seen a handful of units for winter camp outs and have begun to shift our focus on spring and summer seasons already!
This last weekend, our very own camp staff member, Nedallas Hammill won a world championship as a Hoop Dancer. If you've seen him at camp, he has quite the gift!
This spring, camp will be bustling during the annual Galena Grant Pilgrimage and our May 1-3 Spring Workday sponsored by the Monroe Kiwanis Club. Food and fellowship are free in exchange for a little bit of service. Join us!
If your unit still needs to register for summer camp, be sure to do so soon. Our programs are beginning to fill. We cap our programs at a reasonable amount of Scouts to ensure a personalized experience. Get registered before it's too late!
If you are already registered, merit badge sign-up will begin within the next month. First payments are also due April 15 ($50/Scout).
We look forward to seeing you at camp and hope to have you join us this summer as we share the Spirit of Canyon Camp with each scout who enters our front gates.
