George Washington Slept Here Ted had the pleasure of reconnecting with George Washington's Virginia home Mount Vernon last month. He had served on the Advisory Board in the early 2000's and resigned when he moved to England in 2011 for a year to become the Visiting Scholar at Cambridge University in UK. Ted will soon be getting involved again with this National Treasure. Stay tuned for the 'when and how.' While at Mount Vernon, Ted met with the President and CEO, Doug Bradburn, and then toured the grounds, the mansion and the various buildings. Ted was instrumental in producing the 4D movie, Washington's War, (which plays in the Visitor Center) during his time on the Advisory Board. Be sure to see it when you visit. "When I write dialogue in a novel, it’s like taking dictation. I listen to my characters talking and write down what they say. They keep leading me towards The End." ~Ted Bell |
