To put it simply, the Arosa EV hovercraft, while dazzling in a great number of ways, is not currently up to meeting the performance objectives we initially laid out. The first production unit that is currently built and complete looks fabulous, maneuvers well, and, as you can see in the many videos we’ve posted, performs quite well on water, launches from land to water, and our EV drivetrain technology is quite stunning in its design and performance. Thrust force and top speed continue to be a challenge and there are other performance areas that we need to improve before we feel that this craft can be ready to put in the hands of customers.
So, until we can invest more time and money in improving Arosa’s performance, we are making an important strategic business decision and temporarily shelving further R&D on the Arosa EV sports hovercraft.
