On Wednesday, April 23, Resilient SRQ program staff will present an Economic Recovery program update and recommended scoring criteria to the Sarasota County Commission at 1660 Ringling Blvd.

About Resilient SRQ and the Economic Recovery Program
Sarasota County is a direct recipient of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)'s Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR). The county has been awarded $201.5 million in funding to address unmet needs resulting from the impacts of Hurricane Ian. Of the total grant, $15 million is allocated for the Economic Recovery program, which will focus on career training in construction trades.
