Monthly Newsletter

Hey Friends! Happy May! Spring has brought so much life to our farm and I am loving it. Goats kids, baby chicks, ducks, a cat, and of course our sweet calf. Our garden is doing great, at least I think so. We mostly survived the late frosts. I only has to replant two veggies, but honestly I think it had more to do with the transplant process than the frost. Lessons learned.

This month we have a few projects planned. We hope to improve the duck pen, by created larger enclosure and creating a better pond situation. We also hope to get started on our front pasture fencing so we can separate the goat bucks. The most exciting May event is Rory's kids. She is due May 12th and we cannot wait to meet her kids and welcome them to the farm.

FAVORITE THINGS

 1. Watching our farm grow. We have been on our farm for two years now, and we are amazed at how much growth God has provided.

  1. I don't know why I haven't shared this before but any Bible study from The Daily Grace Co. I absolutely loved their studies and resources.

  1. This butter lip balm! I purchased it from a local shop, Needle & Grain. I don't see it on their website but if you are local, you have to check out their store.

  1. Watching Madeline with her calf. She is just the sweetest mama. I love that I was able to be there for the whole delivery and that mama is so trusting with us.

  1. I am a planner, and I absolutely love my paper planners, but I don't like carrying them around. I recently found a great planner app, Artful Agenda. Each month when I update my paper planner, I also update the digital planner so I can easily check our schedules from anywhere.

Verse for the Month

 "You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us;
    none can compare with you!
I will proclaim and tell of them,
    yet they are more than can be told."

- Psalm 40:5
