Produced by the Fitchburg Cultural Alliance and its partners, Sitka Creations and NewVue Communities, this directory will promote the diverse cultural organizations, individual artists of all media, and art-supporting businesses to an estimated audience of 20,000 or more in the North Central Massachusetts region. The finished directory is slated to be published in June 2021. A printed version will be free and distributed to libraries, museums, galleries, visitor centers, and coffee shops throughout the region. A digital version will be shared extensively on social media platforms and e-mail marketing. We hope this directory will be a vital link to you and your organization. |

Call for Art OUR CONNECTION WITH NATURE — Earth Day 2021 Images of the work should be submitted digitally by 4 p.m. on March 26th. This year has had extreme challenges. Many have sought out nature as a stabilizing, nurturing place. How has your experience with nature informed your art? How do you “feel” nature in your art? Pierre Bonnard said, “Art will never be able to exist without nature.” In celebration of Earth Day 2021, Gallery Sitka invites you to submit up to three images that are related to your personal connection with nature. The selected works will be on display from Friday, April 23 to Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in Gallery Sitka in Shirley, Mass., on gallerysitka.com, and on Gallery Sitka’s ARTSY page. This show will be curated by Gallery Sitka’s represented NYC artist Beth Barry. (For purposes of the show online, the works should be available from Gallery Sitka for the entire year, until December 31, 2021.) |
