These lilies get brighter and bolder each day.

MamaDuck is back and has been sneaking into this flowerpot of lush lilies. She has nested here a couple times previously, eating all of the flower stems while waiting patiently for her fuzzy ducklings. We'll see...

Meanwhile baby cardinals hatched from a nearby nest and we got to watch their first "hopping flights" on the patio while their parents flitted and chirped around them, urging them on.

Two of our "free range turtles" have been enjoying the spring bounty of our strawberry patch. My son tries to beat them to the ripe berries each day (but I think the turtles might be winning.)

Spring is full of blossoms, growth and the launch of younglings.

We celebrated the launch of our not-so-little son earlier this week.  We took advantage of an online "virtual" graduation ceremony with the #athome perks of yummy snacks and barefoot photo ops.

The timing of significant family events is not always tidy, is it? In the midst of celebrating our son, I've also been wading through the loss of my 101-year-old Grandma.

...and her funeral service has landed on my husband's birthday.

I'm grateful for God equipping us with "stretchy" hearts to navigate the mix of emotions we often face at one time.

My heart has been getting an intense "stretch workout" lately!

Faith is plodding along through the middle days of the month, putting one foot in front of the other and facing challenges as they come, praying for strength and mercy to push through.

We're halfway through 31 Days of Faith...how's it going for you?

We're approaching the final round of the alphabet as we get to the letter "T" this week in the ABC Bible Quilt journal. It's fitting in this season of "teacher appreciation" and graduation days to focus on how we teach and train our children.

As our children's path extends beyond us, we can lift their tender hearts up in relentless prayer and pray for their steps to be steady along the unique paths the Lord has laid before each of them.

Wherever the middlin' of May takes you, I hope you're discovering some blossoms along the way!  ❤️ Di
